XML to PDF Converter

Turn XML files into a clean PDF in your browser. E-invoices are recognised automatically and laid out as an invoice: CFDI from Mexico, NF-e from Brazil, the Italian fattura elettronica (FatturaPA), German XRechnung and ZUGFeRD / Factur-X (CII or UBL) and other UBL invoices. Every other XML file becomes a structured, readable outline.

Private: your data is processed in your browser and never uploaded.

How to convert XML to PDF

  1. Open the XML file, drop it onto the editor or paste its content. Try a sample – CFDI, NF-e, FatturaPA or XRechnung – to see the invoice layout.
  2. The type is detected automatically: invoices get an invoice layout, other files an outline. Change the layout, page size, orientation and font size if you like.
  3. Check the preview and click Download PDF. Nothing is uploaded – the PDF is created in your browser.

A readable summary, not the official printed invoice

The PDF presents the data of the XML in a clear layout for reading, printing, archiving or sharing. It is not an official representation: Brazil prescribes the DANFE format for NF-e, Mexico requires specific content for the representación impresa of a CFDI, such as the QR code and the digital seals, and a FatturaPA has its official display through the AgID stylesheet (foglio di stile). For XRechnung and FatturaPA, the XML file itself is the legally valid invoice and the PDF is not a legally binding copy, so keep the XML together with the PDF.

Any other XML file

Configuration files, data exports, RSS feeds or sitemaps become an outline: every element on its own line with its text, attributes below it as @name: value, and nesting shown by indentation. Long values wrap, and large documents continue over as many pages as needed, with page numbers in the footer.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert a CFDI factura from XML to PDF?

Open the XML of the factura (or click the CFDI sample). CFDI 3.3 and 4.0 are recognised automatically, and the PDF shows issuer, receiver, items, taxes, total and the UUID. The file never leaves your computer.

Can I convert an NF-e from XML to PDF?

Yes. Open the NF-e or nfeProc XML to get a PDF with emitter, recipient, products, totals, the chave de acesso and the authorization protocol. It is a readable summary, not an official DANFE.

How do I open an XRechnung or a fattura elettronica as a PDF?

Open the XML file or click the FatturaPA or XRechnung sample. Italian FatturaPA (FPR12, FPA12) and CII invoices – XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, Factur-X – are recognised automatically, as is XRechnung in UBL syntax. The PDF is a readable summary, not the AgID stylesheet view and not a legally binding copy. Signed .xml.p7m files must be extracted to .xml first.

Are characters such as ñ, ç, ã, à or ß supported?

Yes. Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, French and other Western European text uses the standard PDF fonts. For Polish, Czech, Turkish, Vietnamese, Greek or Cyrillic text the converter automatically embeds a Unicode font, so these letters print correctly too. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Arabic and emoji are not supported and appear as “?”.

Is my invoice uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDF is generated by JavaScript in your browser, so confidential invoices stay on your device.
